The Sang Lee International Open 2002 was a carom tournament in the three cushion discipline and took place from July 16th to 21st in New York , USA .

40 players played the players for the main round in the first round in five groups of eight participants. 22 players qualified for the main round. Two groups of eleven players each were formed. The top five of each group played in the final group. The games from the main round were carried over to the final round.
