40 players played the players for the main round in the first round in five groups of eight participants. 22 players qualified for the main round. Two groups of eleven players each were formed. The top five of each group played in the final group. The games from the main round were carried over to the final round. In these, the qualified players only played against the players in the other group. Torbjörn Blomdahl won all games in the tournament. In the main and final round 15 and in qualification 7.
