The Sang Lee International Open 2004 was a Karambolageturnier in the discipline three cushion and took place in August in New York , United States instead.
mode
The tournament started with six groups of nine or ten players each. The top three in each group qualified for the second round. The seeded players Torbjörn Blomdahl and Semih Saygıner also entered the tournament in this round . In addition, two of the eliminated players in the first round were drawn. Two groups of 11 players each were created. After completing this round, the top five in each group qualified for the final round. Here the games already played in the second round were taken. Thus, the players in group A only played against the players in group B. The same also applied the other way round, i.e. B against A. All tournament games were played in round-robin mode. Therefore Pedro Piedrabuena and Dion Nelin played a total of 24 matches in the tournament. Even the seeded players had 15 matches.
