Paweł Gil (born June 28, 1976 ) is a Polish football referee .

Paweł Gil made his debut in Poland's Ekstraklasa on July 30, 2005. He has been a FIFA referee since 2009, leading international matches. He has been in charge of Europa League games since the 2011/12 season and two Champions League games in the 2012/13 season .

Gil was involved in the U-21 European Championship 2013 in Israel , the FIFA Club World Cup 2018 in the United Arab Emirates and the Nations League 2018/19 .

In 2018, Gil was nominated by FIFA as one of 13 video referees for the 2018 World Cup in Russia . He was used in 16 games. A year later, he also acted as video referee at the 2019 Women's World Cup in France .
