Torricella Sicura is a small town in the province of Teramo . It has 2572 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is located about 6 km from Teramo city, in the Abruzzo region , central Italy. The inhabitants are called "Torricellesi". The village is a member of the Comunità Montana della Laga .

Torricella Sicura is also known for its folklore museum. It has 16,000 exhibits divided into three sectors: an old family of the city, old parts for farms (1800 and 1900) and a virtual museum with precise information about the jobs and activities of the former residents. Gino Di Benedetto realized the museum and presents the virtual museum on an internet website.
