Castiglione Messer Raimondo is a municipality with 2185 inhabitants and is located near Montefino and Castilenti in the Italian province of Teramo . The village is a member of the Comunità Montana del Vomano, Fino e Piomba .

The patron saint of the parish is Donato d'Arezzo (Saint Donato), who was the second bishop of Arezzo from 285 to 304 . Since his death on August 7, 363, his body has been carried through the streets of the village every five years in a solemn procession .
