The Turmhügelburg stall is an Outbound medieval Höhenburg the type of a Turmhügelburg (moth) on a ground ridge between two stream valleys. It is located in the characteristic hamlet of Burgstall , a district of the municipality of Eging am See in the Passau district in Bavaria . No historical or archaeological information is known about this castle, it is roughly dated as high or late medieval , and there are no known findings from the fortification. A member of the castle nobility was mentioned as "Adelram von Purchstal" in the 12th century. Only remains of the tower hill and a moat have survived from the complex. The site is protected as a ground monument number D-2-7345-0004 "Tower hill of the high or late Middle Ages".

Most of the castle site is located on the property of house number 3 in the hamlet of Burgstall. The tower hill castle stood on a long and narrow ridge that stretches to the south-east between the valley of the Große Ohe in the north-east and that of the Altenreiter trench on the south-west side.

The place of the castle at around 400  m above sea level. NN height is on the ridge of the terrain at a point that drops only slightly steeply in all directions. The tower hill, which is only preserved in remnants, is 1.5 meters high and 7 × 5.5 meters in diameter. From the former ring moat that surrounded the hill, there are still visible hollows with a small pond on the east and south sides.
