Unión is a district ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

location

It is located in the central south of the Montevideo department . Unión borders Parque Batlle - Villa Dolores and Buceo in the south . To the west are the districts of La Blanqueada , Larrañaga and Mercado Modelo y Bolívar . In the north include Villa Española and Maroñas - Parque Guaraní , while the east Malvín Norte continues the city.
