Vendone (in Ligurian : Vendùn ) is an Italian commune with 362 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Liguria region . Politically it belongs to the province of Savona .

geography

Vendone is located in the Arroscia Valley , on the left bank of the Arroscia River . To the north of the municipality rises the 1092 meter high mountain Castell'Ermo . The two associated settlements Leuso and Curenna are located in the left half of the valley of the Rio Paraone , while the settlement Castellaro lies in the valley of the Rio Merce . Vendone belongs to the Comunità Montana Ingauna and is about 58 kilometers from the provincial capital Savona .
