Millesimo (in Ligurian : Merexo ) is an Italian municipality with 3281 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Savona in Liguria and is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The most beautiful places in Italy).
geography
Millesimo is located in the Val Bormida , on the river of the same name , which takes the name Bormida di Millesimo in the community . The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana Alta Val Bormida and also to the Bric Tana Natural Park . Millesimo is around 27 kilometers away from the provincial capital Savona . Associated settlements are Acquafredda and Borda above Millesimo, on the road to Murialdo and Braia on the road to Roccavignale . The core town of Millesimo is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Italy.

history
