Wellington County is a county in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario . The county seat is Guelph . The population is 208,360 (2011), the area 2660.46 km², which corresponds to a population density of 78.3 inhabitants per km². The county was named after Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington .
