Éder Gabriel Militão (born January 18, 1998 in Sertãozinho , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player who plays mainly as a central defender , but also as a right defender or defensive midfielder . He has been under contract with the Spanish first division club Real Madrid since 2019 .

Club career

Sao Paulo FC

Born in Sertãozinho , São Paulo state , Militão started playing for the São Paulo FC youth team in 2010 . He was first nominated for the first team at the Copa Paulista in 2016 and made his debut on July 2 with a 2-1 defeat at Ituano ; The team from the state capital played for the first time with a U-20 team in the tournament. He played 11 games and scored two goals, with the first win in a 4-0 home win over CA Juventus on September 18 qualifying for the second round.
