Brahim , full name Brahim Abdelkader Díaz (born August 3, 1999 in Málaga ), is a Spanish football player . The attacking midfielder is under contract with Real Madrid .
Career
societies
Brahim moved in 2013 from FC Malaga to Manchester City . There he went through the youth teams, but from October 2015 he also gained his first experience in the U23 Premier League . He made his first-team debut on September 21, 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Kelechi Iheanacho in the 80th minute in the League Cup's 2-1 win over Swansea City . In the 2017/18 season Brahim was part of the professional squad and, in addition to one appearance each in the League Cup and FA Cup , played three times in the Champions League and five times in the Premier League . With City he won the league cup and the English championship that season . On November 1, 2018, Brahim was called up by coach Pep Guardiola in the round of 16 of the League Cup and scored his first two competitive goals for City's first team in the 2-0 home win against Fulham .
In early January 2019, Brahim returned to Spain and moved to Real Madrid . He received a contract with a term until June 30, 2025 and has been running under his first name Brahim ever since . Under the head coach Santiago Solari he came to a league use. After Zinédine Zidane took over the team in March 2019, Brahim appeared in eight other league games in which he scored a goal.
National team
Brahim made his debut on February 10, 2016 in a 2-1 win in a friendly against Greece in the Spanish U17 national team . In May 2016 , he played with her at the U17 European Championship in Azerbaijan and reached the final with his team , which they lost on penalties to Portugal . Brahim was used in all six games of his team and scored three goals. After the final, Brahim was named to the team of the tournament .
Brahim played eight times for the U19 selection from November 2016 to March 2018. On September 1, 2017, he played a game for the U21s in a 3-0 win in the friendly against Italy .
