Nacho , real name José Ignacio Fernández Iglesias (born January 18, 1990 in Madrid ), is a Spanish football player . His preferred position is central defense , occasionally playing as a full-back . He is currently under contract with Real Madrid .

Career

Nacho's first stop as a junior was AD Complutense . In the summer of 2001, the then eleven-year-old switched to Real Madrid's offspring . In the capital city he went through various age groups and made his debut on September 7, 2008 in the second team Real Madrid Castilla , where he was only used sporadically this season. For the 2009/10 season he finally went to the squad of the B team and quickly secured a regular place in central defense.
