Übersteherhäusl is a district of Vohenstrauß in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in the Upper Palatinate .

Geographical location

Übersteherhäusl is about 4.5 kilometers east of Vohenstrauss. The federal highway 6 runs about 500 meters north of Übersteherhäusl . About 300 meters west of Übersteherhäusl are the 532 meter high Tonbühl and the Fahrnbach, which was dammed up here to form several small ponds.

history

In 1808, when the tax districts were formed , Übersteherhäusl came into the Vohenstrauß tax district. The Vohenstrauß tax district included the Vohenstrauss market and the deserted hop mill, leather mill, Neuwirtshaus, Sägmühle and Übersteherhäusl.

In 1818 Übersteherhäusl was recorded as a separate village belonging to Braunetsrieth.

In 1838 the desert overhanger house had a house and 3 Catholics. She was 100% Catholic and belonged to the Moosbach parish. In 1913 Übersteherhäusl had a house and 6 Catholics. At that time, 2,457 Catholics and 5 Protestants lived in the area of ​​the Moosbach parish.

Until April 1, 1971, Übersteherhäusl belonged to the municipality of Burgtreswitz. On April 1, 1971, the municipality of Burgtreswitz was incorporated into the Moosbach market. In 1972, the former part of the community, the Übersteherhäusl, was reclassified from Burgtreswitz to the Vohenstrauß community.
