Location of Linglmühle in Bavaria

Linglmühle is a wasteland in the northern Upper Palatinate and part of the city of Vohenstrauß . In 2011 the place was uninhabited.

Geographical location

Linglmühle is located on the north bank of the Pfreimd . The Goldbach flows into the Pfreimd to the east and the Kaltenbaumbach to the west. Linglmühle is about 2 km south of the A6 motorway . A small street runs parallel to the motorway between Kaltenbaum and the street houses. A dirt road branches off from this and ends in Linglmühle. About 150 m east of Linglmühle there is a small footbridge over the Pfreimd.

history

Linglmühle was first mentioned in 1394. It was owned by the Paulsdorfer and was also called Kaslachsreuth, Kaslachsrewt, Kazlesmühle, Katzlersrytt. At the end of the 14th century Linglmühle belonged to the Tännesberg estate.

In the Salbuch of 1562 and in the official description of 1596 Linglmühle was recorded with a mill property. At the beginning of the 19th century Linglmühle had an estate. It belonged to the municipality and the parish of Böhmischbruck.

Linglmühle belonged to the Lerau tax district formed in 1808 . In addition to Lerau itself, this included Kleßberg, Obernankau, Unternankau, Steinach, Wieselrieth and Linglmühle.

From 1808 to 1830, Kößing and Linglmühle formed the Kößing rural community . In 1830 the independent rural community of Kößing was incorporated into the municipality of Böhmischbruck together with Linglmühle.
