Unterlind is a district of the town of Vohenstrauß in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district .

Geographical location

The village of Unterlind is located on the west bank of the Leraubach .

Unterlind is located about 2.7 km southwest of Vohenstrauss and 1.5 km west of the federal motorway 6 .

history

According to documents from the years 1394, 1397 and 1399, the Paulsdorfer owned 2 farms in Lint (Ober- and Unterlind).

In 1431 Margrave Friedrich sold the tithe Lind (Ober- and Unterlind) to Wilhelm Paulsdorfer.

In 1550 and 1596 Unterlind belonged to the Tännesberg nursing office .

In the 16th century, Unterlind belonged to the municipality and parish of Oberlind, Vohenstrauss district. 4 properties in Unterlind belonged to the Tännesberg care office. The caste office in Weiden had right to tithes in Unterlind .

In the 18th century, Unterlind with 13 properties and a shepherd's house belonged to the Tännesberg care office. 4 properties of which belonged to the estate of Amt Vohenstrauß.

Unterlind belonged to the Oberlind tax district formed in 1808 . In addition to Oberlind itself, Unterlind, Arnmühle, Kaltenbaum and Tradmühle belonged to this tax district.

In 1821 Unterlind belonged to the rural community of Oberlind. The municipality of Oberlind included the villages of Oberlind with 39 families and Unterlind with 13 families and the desert Kaltenbaum with 2 families and Tradmühle with one family.

With the municipal reform in 1972 Unterlind came to the municipality of Vohenstrauß.
