Location of Herrnmühle in Bavaria

Herrnmühle is a wasteland in the northern Upper Palatinate and part of the city of Vohenstrauß .

Geographical location

The Einsöde Herrnmühle is located in the Upper Palatinate Forest 600 m southwest of Kaimling, 6 km west of Vohenstrauss and 300 m south of the district road NEW 23 , which connects Irchenrieth with Kaimling. Herrnmühle is on the banks of the Luhe .

history

In 1808 the Kaimling tax district was formed with the villages of Kaimling and Kleinpoppenhof and the solitude of Herrnmühle. He belonged to the Vohenstrauss regional court in the Naab district of the Kingdom of Bavaria . In 1821 the independent municipality of Kaimling was established with 66 families with Herrnmühle and one family. In 1946 Kaimling was incorporated into Roggenstein, but became independent again two years later. With effect from January 1, 1972, the Kaimling community was dissolved. It was incorporated into the city of Vohenstrauss.
