... and something has to go to bed at 8 am is a German-Austrian comedy film from 1965 with the main actors Gitte Hænning , Ingeborg Schöner and Peter Alexander .

action

The university advisor Dr. Eduard Frank (called Fränkli) is supposed to take over the particularly stubborn Abitur class of a Carinthian girls' boarding school as a high school teacher . With their pranks, the girls, led by the bright Princess Margret, bring Dr. Frank on the verge of desperation. He cannot expect any help from the purely female teaching staff. The only one Eduard supports is the committed sports teacher Angelika.

When Princess Margret notices the affection of the two teachers for each other, she causes further trouble with fictitious love letters . When the girls passed their Abitur and Eduard confessed that the letters did not come from Angelika, Edi and Angelika found each other anyway.

Reviews

"A comedy that sucks off banalities and the oldest puns that only creates a joke in a few moments."

In Paimann's film lists it says: "In this story, which has been there just as often, amiable slapstick is unobtrusively built into and brought about by just such forces."
