541st Grenadier Division

The 541st Grenadier Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on July 7, 1944 at the Groß Born military training area in Pomerania . On July 27, 1944, the division was renamed the 562nd Grenadier Division. A few months later, on October 9, 1944, the division was renamed the 541st Volks-Grenadier-Division .
