363rd Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)

The 363rd Reserve Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on December 28, 1943 in the General Government of Poland from remnants of other decimated divisions and new recruits . In August 1944, the division in the Falaise pocket in France was completely wiped out.

On September 17, 1944, the division was re-established as the 363rd Volksgrenadier Division . This came in Abrig 1945 in the Ruhr basin in the US prisoner of war .
