The A2208 is a Class I road that was established in 1922 in the city of London with the name "Rotherhithe New Road". It runs from the A2 across London-Southwark in a north-east direction to the A200. Because the A200 was split into parallel one-way streets, Hawstone Road is still part of the A2208 today, which means that it has 2 branches at its northern end.
