The A2212 was a Class I road established in 1922 in the city of London with the name "Link at High Street, Lewisham". It connected the A20 with the A21 in Lewisham and ran parallel to the A21 , only separated by a block . It should have quickly become part of the A21, as the number was used again very early, probably from 1935, for an upgraded piece of the B212. This runs from the A20 in eastern Lewisham via Lee to the A21 in Bromley and is still numbered A2212 today.
