Ahrenbach is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The village lies at an altitude of 140 meters above N. N. on the slopes of the Westerwald , but still in the Bergisches Natural Parkland , in the district Süchterscheid . Neighboring towns in the southeast are Süchterscheid, the hamlet of Beiert in the west and the town of Blankenberg in the northwest.
history
According to statistics from 1885, Ahrenbach had 25 residents in five houses at that time.
In 1910 there were the households of the farmers Wilhelm Jost and Peter Zimmermann in Ahrenbach.
Until August 1, 1969, the village of Ahrenbach belonged to the municipality of Uckerath . As part of the local reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and with it the town of Ahrenbach, was assigned to the then new, non-official community “Hennef (Sieg)”.
