Alexander Pokorny

Alexander Pokorny (born May 18, 1962 ) is a German rhetoric trainer and politician ( FDP ). He has been a member of the party's federal executive committee since May 2015.

Life and politics

Pokorny has suffered from thalidomide damage since his birth and is dependent on a wheelchair . He works as a freelance rhetoric trainer in Berlin.

At the FDP federal party conference in 2015 , he was elected to the party's federal executive committee at the suggestion of Otto Fricke and confirmed in office in 2017 and 2019 .
