Alexander Vladimirovich Belyakov ( Russian Александр Владимирович Беляков * 26. January 1962 in Moscow ) is a former luger who for the Soviet Union took.

Belyakov competed in a two-seater with Yevgeny Belousov . They celebrated their first international success in 1984 when they won the silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . Two years later they became European champions in Hammarstrand , and in 1988 they took third place at the European Championships in Königssee . Beljakow and Belousov also won bronze at the 1989 World Championships in Winterberg in a team competition.

In the course of their careers, they won two World Cup races and finished the 1987/88 season as overall winners. Beljakow and Belousov are the most successful tobogganers in doubles in the Soviet Union.

His brother Gennady Belyakov was also active as a luge.
