Badminton Bundesliga 2012/13

The 2012/2013 Badminton Bundesliga season was the 42nd season of the Badminton Bundesliga . It started with ten teams. The first three teams in the league played for the championship title in the play-offs. The last two teams were relegated. The respective champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North and South rose. The SG EBT Berlin became the champion .

Main round

In the main round, which is divided into a round-trip round, all teams meet twice on the basis of a game plan set before the season; once in your own hall and once in the opponent's hall. The winner of each game receives two points; in the event of a tie, both teams receive one point each.

Playoff round

Following the main round, the German champions are determined in a playoff round, where the second against the third of the main round in the semifinals. The winner then plays against the first of the main round in the final. The team that is placed higher in the table has home rights.
