Book House (Limmersdorf)

Buchhaus is a deserted area in the municipality of Markt Thurnau in the district of Kulmbach .

geography

The wasteland was at an altitude of 408  m above sea level. NHN on a Vicinalstrasse (today State Road 2189 ), which leads from Thurnau to Aichen to a road that runs to Neudrossenfeld or to Altenplos .

history

In 1792 the property was first mentioned as house no. 6 by Forstleithen , in 1811 this Söldengütlein was called the book house. It got its name from the adjacent forest area, which at that time was called the small or long book (= beech forest ).

From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Sanspareil . With the community edict, Buchhaus was assigned to the tax district of Limmersdorf in 1812 and to the provisional rural community of Forstleithen in 1818 . In 1819 they were incorporated into the rural community of Kasendorf , and in 1856 the places were transferred to the rural community of Limmersdorf. After 1961, Buchhaus was no longer mentioned.
