A community road leads past Meißnersleithen to Felkendorf to the KU 17 district road (1.3 km northeast).

history

In 1392 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Klecz". The place name is derived from the verb klēzen ( mhd. For wood splitting). Accordingly, it was probably originally a field name where this activity was habitually pursued.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Kleetzhöfe consisted of two whole courtyards. The high court and the manorial rule exercised the Giech'sche Amt Thurnau .

From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the patrimonial court of Thurnau . With the community edict, Kleetzhöfe was assigned to the tax district of Limmersdorf in 1812 and to the rural community of Felkendorf in 1818 .

In 1936, when a road was being built from Thurnau to Tannfeld, an early medieval burial ground with 80 graves from the 8th and 9th centuries was discovered.

On April 1, 1971, Felkendorf was incorporated into the municipality of Limmersdorf as part of the regional reform in Bavaria , which in turn was incorporated into the Thurnau market on May 1, 1978.
