Wiesenmühle is a district of the Thurnau market in the Kulmbach district .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Aubach . A local road leads to Berndorf (0.3 km south-west) or to state road 2689 at junction 22 of the A 70 (0.2 km south-east), which runs south of the village.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in the interest book of Förtsch von Thurnau from 1526 as "Wiesenmuel".

At the end of the 18th century, Wiesenmühle consisted of an estate. The Giech'sche Amt Thurnau held the high court and the lordship over the grinding, beating and cutting mills .

From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the patrimonial court of Thurnau . With the community edict, Wiesenmühle was assigned to the tax district of Limmersdorf in 1811 and to the rural community of Berndorf in 1818 . On January 1, 1972, Wiesenmühle was incorporated into the Thurnau market as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
