Meißnersleithen is a district in Markt Thurnau in the district of Kulmbach .

geography

0.4 km south of the wasteland is the wooded Kleetz hill ( 561  m above sea level ), which is one of the elevations of the Upper Main hill country . A communal road leads to Kleetzhöfe to the district road KU 7 (0.4 km west) or to Felkendorf to the district road KU 17 (1 km north-east).

history

In 1849 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Meisterleite near the house". The underlying field name was first mentioned in 1812. The corridor was probably named after the family name of its owner.

Meißnersleithen was founded in the municipality of Felkendorf . The property had house number 18 from Felkendorf. On April 1, 1971, Felkendorf was incorporated into the municipality of Limmersdorf as part of the regional reform in Bavaria , which in turn was incorporated into the Thurnau market on May 1, 1978.
