Quartier is a district of the Thurnau market in the Kulmbach district .

geography

The wasteland is touched by the A 70 to the south and the state road 2689 to the west. It is located directly at junction 22 of the A 70. The quarter is 0.9 km south of Thurnau (as the crow flies to the town center).

history

Quartier was first mentioned in a document in 1699. The reason why the place was named is unclear.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the quarter consisted of an estate. The High Court as well as the basic rule about the Söldengut had the Giech'sche Office Thurnau held.

From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the patrimonial court of Thurnau . With the community edict , Quartier was assigned to the Limmersdorf tax district in 1811 and to the Berndorf rural community in 1818 . On January 1, 1972, Quartier was incorporated into the Thurnau market as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
