Bzenica (German Senitz , Hungarian Szénásfalu ) is a small community in Okres Žiar nad Hronom in central Slovakia .
geography
The village is located thirteen kilometers southwest of the town of Žiar nad Hronom .
history
The village was first mentioned in historical records in 1075 under the name Gronzucha . In 1124 the village can be found in lists under the name Boznica . It has been called Bzenica since 1326 .
