Bartošova Lehôtka (until 1927 "Bartošová Lehôtka" in Slovak - 1927 to 1946 "Bartošova Lehotka"; Hungarian Bartos - until 1888 Bartoslehota / Bartoslehotka ) is a small community in central Slovakian Okres Žiar nad Hronom .

The village is located south of the nearest larger town Kremnica .

history

The place was first mentioned in writing in 1487 as Bartoslevka and belonged to the Archdiocese of Gran and later from 1776 to the Diocese of Neusohl.

population

At the last census in 2001, all of the 421 inhabitants stated to be Slovaks. The majority of the population is Roman Catholic with 85.99%.

Attractions

The 15th century Church of St. John Nepomuk was rebuilt in 1732 in the Baroque style. A statue of John of Nepomuk in the baroque chapel was made in 1783.
