Location and dates

Camporotondo Etneo is located 14 km northeast of Catania on the southern slope of Mount Etna . The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture.

history

Camporotondo Etneo emerges from eight small towns that Andrea Massa bought in 1645. In 1669 it was destroyed by an eruption of Mount Etna and then rebuilt.
