Constantijn Theodoor (Theo) van Lynden van Sandenburg (born February 24, 1826 in Utrecht , † November 18, 1885 in Nederlangbroek , Netherlands ) was a Utrecht nobleman (baron and since August 24, 1882 count) from the van Lynden family , who several times was appointed minister.

Van Lynden van Sandenburg was a trained lawyer and had been a member of the Dutch Second Chamber since 1866 . He was one of the Orthodox-Protestant conservatives who sympathized with the "anti-revolutionaries". He belonged to the Van Zuylen van Nijevelt cabinet as Minister for Affairs of the Reformed Churches and to the Heemskerk / van Lynden van Sandenburg cabinet , headed by himself and Jan Heemskerk , as Minister of Justice. During this time he introduced a new division of the Dutch judicial districts. The Van Lynden van Sandenburg cabinet compiled by him in 1879consisted of moderate conservatives and liberals and ruled with a liberal second chamber majority; he himself was foreign minister and later finance minister . In 1879 he was responsible for drafting the marriage contract of Willem III. responsible with Emma zu Waldeck and Pyrmont .
