societies

Kamada moved from Higashiyama High School to Sagan Tosu in January 2015 . There he came in two and a half years to 65 appearances in the J1 League , in which he scored 13 goals. For the 2017/18 season , Kamada moved to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt , with whom he signed a four-year contract. During the season he made three appearances in the Bundesliga and one appearance in the DFB Cup , which he won with Eintracht in May 2018 after a 3-1 final win against FC Bayern Munich . Frankfurt's coach at the time, Niko Kovač, attested Kamada “very aesthetic and fine movements” and a strong ball technique, but denounced a lack of assertiveness. In August 2018, the Japanese was removed from the squad by the new coach Adi Hütter and six other players and transferred to a separate training group. At the end of the transfer period, Kamada was awarded to VV St. Truiden until the end of the season. There he came as a regular player to 36 competitive appearances with 16 goals scored and 9 assists.

He returned to Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2019/20 season. Under Adi Hütter, who predicted a “very good development” for Kamada, the Japanese fought for a regular place in the attacking midfield in the first half of the season. He scored his first competitive goal for Eintracht in a 5-3 victory in the DFB Cup match at SV Waldhof Mannheim . In the Europa League , Kamada scored six times until a season break forced by the COVID-19 pandemic . He scored three of these goals in the 4-1 first leg success in the round of 32 against FC Salzburg . On June 13, 2020, he prepared a goal scored by André Silva with a heel in a 4-1 win in the Bundesliga match against Hertha BSC with a solo run and was named goalscorer of the month by the Sportschau together with the Portuguese . In total, Kamada made 28 league appearances in the season, in which he scored 2 goals.
