Simon Falette (born February 19, 1992 in Le Mans ) is a French - Guinean soccer player . The central defender is under contract with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt and has been a Guinean national team player since November 2018 .

Personal

Falette's father Albert (* 1962) comes from French Guiana and was also a professional footballer. He was under contract with Le Mans FC at the time of Simon's birth . At the age of three, Simon Falette and his family left Le Mans, the city ​​of his birth, and moved with them to Tours . His grandfather is from Guinea . Falette is a devout Muslim . He is married to a Guinean and is a father of three.

Career

In the club

Falette moved in 2007 from Tours FC to Lorient FC youth . For his first team, he came on February 18, 2012 in the 0-1 home defeat against OSC Lille once in Ligue 1 to use. The 2012/13 season spent as Falette Players out on loan at Stade Laval in Ligue 2 . After his return he was loaned to Stade Brest for a year and then firmly committed by the second division. For the 2016/17 season , Falette moved to FC Metz . At the first division he became a regular player and in his first season he played 35 league games with three goals.

In mid-August 2017, Falette moved to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt , with whom he signed a four-year contract. In the national team

In 2015, Falette was nominated for the French Guiana football selection , but was not used. In November 2018 he was appointed to the Guinean national team. On November 18, 2018, Falette made his debut in a 1-1 draw against Ivory Coast as part of the qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup .
