The three sisters Rebecca, Sophie and Hazel perished in the 19th century . After 150 years they are allowed to return to their parents' house as youthful ghosts, which has since become a boarding school. There they have to behave like living people, but they have no idea what life is like in the 21st century and are quickly noticed as ghosts.

Rebecca Rebecca is the oldest of the three sisters at the age of 15. She was the one who turned to the Spirit Council and asked if she could live again. Rebecca is quickly getting used to the luxury and adventure of the 21st century.
Sophie For 13-year-old Sophie it is sometimes not easy to find her way around in modern life. She is ashamed in her tight gymnastics uniform and would much rather occupy herself with the traditional hobbies from the 19th century. Painting and handicraft are her favorite pastimes.
Hazel Hazel is the Ainsworth family chick at 12 years old. Thanks to her curious and inquisitive nature, she quickly finds her way in the 21st century. She likes to work with computers and the science of the 21st century. She loves modern life, if only it weren't for these duties to keep the past alive.
