The German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 1957 took place on February 17, 1957 in Frankfurt am Main as part of the broadcast two on a horse . Four performers stood on the jury under the musical direction of Willy Berking . Margot Hielscher was already on the list of participants in the German preliminary decision in 1956, but it is questionable whether this took place at all.
