The German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 1960 took place on February 6, 1960 as part of the Schlagerparade broadcast in Wiesbaden . It was produced by the Hessischer Rundfunk . The broadcast was also broadcast by the Austrian broadcaster ORF .

The clear favorite was Heidi Brühl , who subsequently had a great chart success with her song We never want to go apart . However, she only came in second place. The competition was won by Wyn Hoop , whose winning song Bonne nuit, ma chérie with the music by Franz Josef Breuer and the text by Kurt Schwabach was only a mediocre success. Third place went to Gerhard Wendland with All Wonders of the World . The rest of the placements remained secret.
