Hape Kerkeling

The German preliminary decision for the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest took place under the title Ein Lied für Zagreb . Hape Kerkeling led the show for the second time .

format

The Bayerische Rundfunk retained the mode of the preliminary decision. Once again, the German contribution was selected by TED . In addition, only the ten most successful German music producers from October 1, 1988 to October 1, 1989 were entitled to submit titles for the preliminary decision. The mode of the TED was still controversial, as Drafi Deutscher suspected manipulation of the TED.
