When the hit of the year 2014 Tour is a unique took place series of events under the motto "pop elite meets pop-young" stand. The concert series emerged from the music show Die Schlager des Jahres from Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk . In this, the German pop singer Bernhard Brink presented the most successful hits of each year since 1995. Brink also led through the program during this tour.

The tour extended over a period of five weeks and took the participating performers through 19 German cities. Andy Borg , Simone & Charly Brunner , Fantasy , Alexandra Lexer, Nicole and Wolkenfrei were able to win as participants for the debut of this series of events . Tickets could be purchased for an average of around EUR 43.00, the regular concert start was usually around 8:00 p.m.

Tour changes

Originally the concert series was supposed to contain 20 concerts. A concert planned for March 20, 2014 in the Luise-Albertz-Halle in Oberhausen had to be canceled for unknown reasons. The tickets already sold for Oberhausen could be exchanged for a ticket in Dortmund (February 13, 2014) or Siegen (March 21, 2014) on presentation of a ticket .
