Dirk Wäger
Dirk Wäger (* 1959 ) is a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .
Life
In high school , Dirk Wäger played in the amateur play group the professor in Professor Mamlock by Friedrich Wolf and the Iswall in Hermann Kant's auditorium . He got his first film role when he answered an advertisement in a newspaper after high school. He got a leading role in the DEFA film Treasure Hunters , but was not sure whether he should take up the profession of actor. He first worked as a track builder and then did his military service in the People's Navy of the GDR , which is why he took part in the premiere of the film in the Berlin Kino International in 1979 in the uniform of a sailor . He then decided to study at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, which he graduated in 1986. He was then delegated to the Berlin Theater im Palast as a master class student.
