Eckart Witzigmann Prize
The International Eckart Witzigmann Prize ( ECKART for short ) is an award named after Eckart Witzigmann . It has been awarded since 2004 to personalities who have made a special contribution to cooking and food culture .
General
The award is a cooperation between the Witzigmann Academy and BMW . The development and organization is in the hands of Otto Geisel , the managing director of the Witzigmann Academy . The prize is awarded in Munich .
