Era Vulgaris is the fifth studio album by the Californian rock band Queens of the Stone Age . It was recorded between June 2006 and April 2007 in various studios in California and was released on June 8, 2007.

reception

The album received mostly positive reviews averaging 75% on Metacritic out of 33 critical reviews . Positive ratings came, for example, from Allmusic with four and a half out of five points, the New Musical Express (8/10) or in German-language reviews on Plattentests.de with eight out of ten points or laut.de (4/5).

The album received rather average ratings from Pitchfork Media (6.2 out of 10) or the Guardian .

The album appeared in different versions. All versions contain the same 11 songs, with different bonus tracks added in some countries . Furthermore, a limited tour edition appeared in Germany and Canada, which also differ from each other.
