The Ferrari SP12 EC is a one-off built by Ferrari for the British musician Eric Clapton .

Details

In May 2012 it was announced that the SP12 EC has a 458 Italia chassis and that the design is similar to the Ferrari 512 BB . The SP12 EC was designed from 2010 to 2012 as part of Ferrari's “One-Off” program by Centro Stile in Maranello in collaboration with Pininfarina. Components that are also used in the Ferrari 458 Italia were used, in particular a 4.5-liter V8 petrol engine ( center ) and a dual clutch transmission ( rear ); some details about the construction of the single piece remained secret. The car reportedly cost £ 3,000,000 (€ 3,650,000).
