The FXX K is a near-series racing car from the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari , which was built in a limited small series from 2015 to 2017 . It was based on the street legal LaFerrari and is the successor to the FXX .
overview
The FXX K was presented at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi at the end of 2014 . In the name, the letter K for Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) was added after the name of the previous model FXX . The brake energy recovery system known from Formula 1 converts electrical energy into additional power at the push of a button. The number of pieces was limited to 32 copies.
