Filothei-Psychiko is a municipality in the Athens-North regional district of the Attica region , about 6 to 8 km northeast of the center of the Greek capital Athens . It was formed during the administrative reform in 2010 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities Filothei , Psychiko and Neo Psychiko , which have since been the three municipal districts. The seat of the municipal administration is Psychiko.
The new mayor has been Pandelis Xyridakis (Παντελής Ξυριδάκης, * 1960) since January 1, 2011.
The municipality is located on both sides of Kifisias Boulevard, roughly halfway between Pendeli and the center of Athens.
