Göhl is a municipality in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein . Antoinettenhof, Christianstal, Gaarz, Gaarzerfelde, Gaarzermühle, Göhl, Giebelberg, Kremsdorf, Lütjendorf, Neuschwelbek, Plügge, Quals and Schwelbek are located in the municipality.
Geography and traffic
Göhl is located about three kilometers east of Oldenburg in Holstein near the Oldenburger Graben in a swampy lowland area. The Lübeck – Puttgarden railway runs through the municipality . Via Oldenburg in Holstein there is a connection to the federal motorway 1 and the Vogelfluglinie / railway line Lübeck – Puttgarden.

The local association of the German Red Cross in Göhl is not only known for its care for the elderly, numerous flea markets, blood donations and the crawling club. The very active DRK readiness with two disaster control units has become known far beyond the borders of the Ostholstein district.
