Gisela Rimpler
Gisela Rimpler (born August 26, 1929 in Leipzig , † January 23, 1999 in Berlin ) was a German actress .
Life
Born into a middle-class family in Leipzig, she went to school there and passed the Abitur. She entered the Leipzig Theater School, where Martin Flörchinger was one of her teachers. That was from 1948 to 1950.
In 1950 her first engagement took her to Gera , then to Altenburg and from 1952 to 1954 Gisela Rimpler played at the theater in Dessau . For the next two years she worked at the Rostock Volkstheater , which was followed by an engagement at the Berliner Brettl, a cabaret that went into companies to play there. At this time, she began working on radio and television and as a voice actress. Fritz Wisten brought her to the Volksbühne Berlin in 1958 until she went to the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin in 1971 .
Gisela Rimpler was married to the director Fritz Bornemann .
